As to why see the following;
1. Joseph Aloysius GRIMESON born 1865 in Newark, Essex, New Jersey, USA was the son of Samuel GRIMASON and Maria GRIMASON nee CLAFFEY.
His wife was Bridget M GRIMESON nee KELLY, they had three children based on records I have seen, they being;
1.1 Margaret GRIMESON (1891-1919)
1.2 Mary Ruth GRIMESON (1894-?)
1.3 John Joseph GRIMESON (1897-1898)
2. Joseph Aloysius GRIMESON (1896-1971) son of William Henry GRIMESON and Mary (Maria) Catherine GRIMESON nee HAGEN
His wife was Edith Mildred GRIMESON nee WOOLEVER, they had one daughter Marylin Edith GRIMESON (1926-1977)As you can see neither had a William Francis GRIMESON so you will be asking how does he fit in then?

3.William Henry GRIMESON and Mary (Maria) Catherine GRIMESON Nee HAGEN had five children they being;
3.1 William Francis GRIMESON (1895-1918)
3.2 Joseph Aloysius GRIMESON (1896-1971)
3.3 Edwin Vincent GRIMESON (1897-?)
3.4 Esther M GRIMESON (1903-?)
3.5 Samuel P GRIMESON (1905-1938
I have reason to suspect that Samuels middle name maybe Patrick as that is what Maria’s Fathers first name was.
Esther’s Middle name is likely to be Maria as that would be a nod to her mother and also her Grandmother.
Now you see why it is very important not to take things on face value when it comes to Genealogy, it does pay to check all available sources, in this case many census images have been checked from the 1850’s right through to the 1940’s and this is why I know that the above I have given is correct and the information Ancestry has given is so wrong.
Based on their record they have made the mistake of Assuming that there was only one Joseph Aloysius GRIMESON and this is a mistake that comes from not doing the actual research to ensure your information is factual and can easily be verified by checking other sources and also not knowing the actual structure of the family as well.This is also why I am known as the Sherlock Holmes of the Family, I tend to make discoveries and unearth information that others can miss, I also double check what is given as fact to ensure what I give out is based on factual information, not the misinformation as given by Find a Grave.com in this case.
